Japanese Emperor's Birthday + Randomness ☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ

Last night I went with my mum to the Japanese Celebration of the Current Emperor's 78th Birthday! It was interesting and I was glad to be able to speak a little Japanese since I had to stop taking lessons because of GCSE but I can't wait to start again after the exams. 

on the way there we passed emirates palace and it was so amazing with all the lights on for National day!!! (ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

My friend Noor from school was there with her parents!!! I was so glad to see a familiar face there!

Happy 40th National Day UAE

Tomorrow is the 4oth Nation Day of UAE and so there was a free-uniform day at school with lots of cultural things going on around school! It was really nice (my frist UAE national day ever!!!) Here are some snaps I took during the day!!! ヾ(☆▽☆)

Laila is one of my school friends with such cute style!! I think she's adorable XD The dress I'm wearing is handmade btw and everything else is offbrand lol

I just realized that I have a Japanese Event to go to at around 7...it's supposed to be very formal to celebrate the emperor's birthday so I'm really excited I will hopefully take some photos and share them tomorrow <3

Rilakkuma JSK! (♥ó㉨ò)ﾉ♡

I adore Rilakkuma so I couldn't resist making a JSK with rilakkuma print (*ノ・ω・)

It took about 9 hours to make in total (；￣д￣） ...It's definitely my favourite JSK at the moment XD I don't think I could pull off full Sweet Lolita though so this will probably be one of my very few sweet lolita dresses. 

I did my hair like bear ears (★^O^★) lol

Sailor Fuku! Complete???～(^з^)-☆

Before I got home and worked on this outfit I was at a netball tournament coaching some under 9 year olds!! They're soo cute! I completed my Sailor Fuku (Japanese School Girl Sailor Uniform) and I'm quite happy with the results! This was actually harder than the wa-lolita outfit believe it or not! I had a really hard time with the collar of the shirt but overall it looks okay (^_^)

While I was finishing th skirt I listened to Motteke! Sailor Fuku over and over (>u<)/* It's really got my in the otaku mood!  ♪(┌・。・)┌

Anywayyy here are some really bad pictures of me wearing the sailor fuku! No make-up or anythings...（ ＴДＴ）

Wa-Lolita Photoshooot ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

I finally finished my Wa-Lolita outfit so here are some photos of my friend modeling it for me! I made this for an Art project so I can have pictures to draw from which I have taken myself :D (I'm looking at Japanese Fashion for this unit)

9 muses in Abu Dhabi!!!! Free Kpop Concert on the Beach ヾ(´□｀* )ノ

There was a free kpop concert and as a kpop fangirl it was a must see!

The nine muses were all so amazing and pretty! They were great dancers too

I really loved the whole expirence minus a few small things (such as being squashed by all the people and the idiots who were 'booing' the performance) I think the 9 muses did a good job and I hope more Kpop comes the the Middle East soon!!!

Wa-Loli WIP～(^з^)-☆

Finally I started making my Wa-Lolita dress! It's not entirely finished yet because it still needs the obi/stash and some detailing but I'm really happy with is soooo far (^u^)/<3 I would have made a tutorial but this was my first time making something like this so I didn't really know what I was doing (>__<)'

For those of you who don't know what Wa-Lolita is....it's basically a type of Lolita (a japanese street fashion) that resembles parts of Kimono (Traditional japanese robes/dress) with the cute over tone that is Lolita!!! XD I'm goin to be using it for a fashion shoot for my art course at school :D (I'll make a post once that's done)

Once this project is finished I will start my Hannah cosplay outfit as well as the Japanese School girl outfit (*o*)/*******
